I am a warm and loving mother who loves and enjoys caring for children. I have 2 beautiful boys, aged 2 and 4.  They are my inspiration for starting a day home.  In my supervision, you can be rest assured that your child will be cared for and nurtured in a safe and caring environment.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children.  I was a teacher at the Alberta Language Institute teaching English to international kids, ages 4-18.  I was also a Kumon instructor for 4 years.  My volunteer work often involved working with children.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science and Minor in Business and worked in that field for a number of years.  It was not until I had started a family, that I discovered how passionate I was about the development of children.  More recently, I have completed my Montessori Teaching Diploma and apply as many methods with my kids.  I have also competed a Teaching Preschool course with EPL.  I want to devote all my focus and energy to making a difference in children’s early years’ education.

I have Child Development Assistant (Level One) certification.  I am certified in First Aid and CPR. In my spare time, I volunteer my time as the Social Director for the Cameron Heights Community League and Director of the Fukienese Association.  I also love to dance and watch anything related to dancing.
