Nutrition in my family is very important to me. I am a fan of super foods and try to find ways to incorporate it into our meals. Whether it is flax seeds in the muffins, kale in the pasta, or quinoa mixed in the rice, my goal is to make tasty meals packed with nutrients. In addition, I try to expose the children to different types of foods including: homemade pho, wontons, curry dishes, Chinese pork jerky, Asian pears, papaya, and many more. At least once a week, the kids help prepare a snack or meal. Together we have fun making pizza’s, muffins, cookies, breads, smoothies, and so on. Also, I am mindful of food allergies, as I have severe allergies myself.
