Our daughter started at Hugs and Tugs just after her third birthday. We knew this was the place for her as soon as we were greeted by Jen and her husband. Jen is incredibly welcoming and Madeline felt at ease with her instantly. Hugs and Tugs offers a small group care setting with all of the benefits of a preschool educational setting.  Madeline has bonded with all of the children at Hugs and Tugs through discovery learning and play. Jen offers daily crafts, outdoor play, circle time, dance, and games.

Communication is always easy and effective. Hugs and Tugs is a safe and nurturing environment. Madeline always looks forward to her time at Jens house and is forever telling us about all of the great things she does in her day.

Absolutely the best. I recommend Hugs and Tugs Learning day home 500%. Jen and her team are so caring, supportive and very helpful. At our previous day home my son would cry every morning. After the first two days going to Hugs and Tugs, my son was saying good bye to me with a big smile. Such a dramatic difference. It is definitely evident that the atmosphere here is a positive and loving one. My son has the biggest smile every time I pick him up at the end of the day. Sometimes he doesn’t want to go home!

I love all the activities that they do. They go for walks, paint, dance parties, play outside, learn their ABCs/counting and sing lots of songs. Jen has taught my son to eat better, try new foods and even nap on his own. He is learning so much every day.

For a first time parent, I know how hard it is to leave your child with someone else for the whole day. Jen has made all my worries disappear. I know my son is safe and in good hands. I can’t imagine my son going anywhere else. And I would like my next child will go to Hugs and Tugs day home in the future too!
